Hi Vinko - I'd like to play devil's advocate for a minute.

In some ways, North Korea's launch of the missiles is provocative and agressive, but that is only because the US has made it so.

The situation reminds me of 2 kids playing in the sand. The bigger one draws a line in the sand between then and says "this is mine - if you come into this area, I'll hit you." OK so if "the sand" is a whole beach, and there's enough space for both to play - then there will be no trouble. So if the smaller one does go across the line - then obviously they're being provcative and trying to start a fight.

However, if the bigger one walks over and draws a circle 10cm around the smaller one and says "if you step out of there, I'll hit you" - then clearly they are being agressive and trying to start a fight.

The difference is just where that line is.

So which one is happening here?

If the US wants to test a missle - they'll just go ahead and test it. If North Korea wants to test a missle - then why shouldn't they??

In some ways, North Korea’s launch of the missiles is provocative and agressive, but that is only because the US has made it so.

The situation reminds me of 2 kids playing in the sand. The bigger one draws a line in the sand between then and says “this is mine – if you come into this area, I’ll hit you.” OK so if “the sand” is a whole beach, and there’s enough space for both to play – then there will be no trouble. So if the smaller one does go across the line – then obviously they’re being provcative and trying to start a fight.

However, if the bigger one walks over and draws a circle 10cm around the smaller one and says “if you step out of there, I’ll hit you” – then clearly they are being agressive and trying to start a fight.

The difference is just where that line is.

So which one is happening here?

If the US wants to test a missle – they’ll just go ahead and test it. If North Korea wants to test a missle – then why shouldn’t they??
