George Carlin (1937-2008) dies in Los Angeles hospital at age 71 from heart failure.

I always liked Carlin the comedian, watching hours of his stand-up performance on TV shows like Tonight Show, comedy festivals like Just for Laughs and on DVDs. His skid that I like the most is his comparison of Baseball and Football. There are many of this and other Carlin stand-up performance on his web site and on YouTube.

He will be dearly missed.

For all those Skype for Mac OS users who are as eager as I am to begin using the Skype version with video conferencing capability, please be “Warned” that the latest development version floating around the Internet should NOT be used.

This development version as stated by one of the Skype developer, Jaanus, will destroy your Skype data.

The one good news is that the new Mac version (v2.0) is almost ready for prime time.

Totally incredible… take a look at the following video and you will understand what I mean. It really shows how crazy a Formula 1 driver can be and how precise their driving are. Given that it is a multi dollar Ferrari makes it that much more exciting.

But in actual fact it was done by the director in his Mercedes and the F1 engine sound effect was overlaid post production.
